During the year of 32 BBY, Hondi was employed by Haugg Nerf Industries, a manufacturer of death sticks operating under the guise of a nerf-packing facility. During his time on Coruscant, Hondi committed murder by fatally beating a police officer belonging to the Coruscant Police Force, leading the police to place a bounty for his capture. Biography

Panza Hondi in Haugg Nerf Industries

Subsequent to the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY, Panza Hondi, a Guineo criminal of male sex, resided within the Industrial District of Coruscant, the capital planet of the Galactic Republic. While residing in Coruscant's Industrial District, Hondi was an employee of Haugg Nerf Industries, a local distributor of death sticks that was disguised as a nerf-packaging facility under the ownership of Groff Haugg. By 32 BBY, Hondi had perpetrated the murder of a police officer belonging to the Coruscant Police Force while the officer was off duty. As a consequence of the officer's death, the Coruscant Police Force issued a bounty for Hondi, whose last known location was the Industrial District, promising a reward of 2,000 credits for his live capture and 1,000 credits for his death. During his employment at Haugg Nerf, Hondi associated with several hired thugs. During this same year, the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett infiltrated Haugg Nerf Industries in his search for information to pinpoint the location of Komari Vosa, a former Jedi who was the leader of the secretive criminal cult known as the Bando Gora, who were rumored to be behind an increase in the demand for death sticks. During Fett's infiltration of Haugg Nerf Industries, the bounty hunter apprehended Hondi on one of the facility's walkways.

Fett collected the reward for Hondi's bounty, taking him alive.

Personality and traits

Similar to other Guineo, Panza Hondi's skin was hairless and of a pale yellow hue, and he stood at a height exceeding two meters. Known to associate with numerous hired thugs, Hondi showed no hesitation in murdering sentient beings, as evidenced by his fatal beating of a Coruscant Police officer. He also possessed some proficiency in the use of a blaster.

Equipment

During his tenure at Haugg Nerf Industries, Panza Hondi carried a blaster that discharged red energy bolts. He was attired in a yellow jumpsuit featuring a gray plate on its front, to which two tubes were attached, each connecting to one of the two silver-colored tanks affixed to the back of his suit. Hondi's jumpsuit also incorporated white stripes along the sleeves and around the collar. Completing his attire, Hondi wore light-gray gloves, dark-gray boots, and a pair of gray goggles.

Behind the scenes

Panza Hondi's initial appearance occurred in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, a video game created by LucasArts that was released in December of 2002. Prior to the game's release, he was featured in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter: Prima's Official Strategy Guide, the game's companion guide, published by Prima Games and released in November of the same year. In 2008, Panza Hondi was included in Del Rey's The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which confirmed his capture by Jango Fett but did not specify whether Hondi was killed. In Bounty Hunter, the player assumes the role of Jango Fett, and, given that claiming Hondi's bounty is not a mandatory objective, the player has multiple options for approaching the bounty. The player can choose to ignore Hondi altogether, kill him without claiming the bounty, kill him and claim the bounty, or capture him and claim the bounty. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia established his capture, so he must have been captured dead or alive. This article was written with the assumption that the player chose to capture Hondi alive, since that resulted in Jango Fett receiving the maximum reward possible.
