Description

Phlac-Arphocc Automata operated as a design and manufacturing firm specializing in starfighters. The company, in addition to its droid starfighter models, collaborated with Colla Designs to produce the droid tri-fighter. In the construction of their fightercraft, Phlac-Arphocc utilized unique and exceptionally dense radioactive fuels.

History

Phlac-Arphocc's prototype tri-fighter under construction

Phlac-Arphocc Automata Industries, which was established at some point during the Republic Era, formed an alliance with Colla Designs. When the Clone Wars commenced between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, spanning from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, the company solidified its relationship with the Confederacy to design and build starfighters for its fleet. As the conflict progressed, Phlac-Arphocc received a commission to develop a new class of superior aerospace starfighter, utilizing design plans supplied by Colicoid Creation Nest.

Subsequently, the droid tri-fighter was manufactured to engage Republic ARC-170 and V-wing starfighters in close-quarters dogfighting and to combat Jedi pilots, beginning with a prototype model before entering mass production. From the moment of its initial deployment, Phlac-Arphocc's droid tri-fighter became the most dreaded and disliked Separatist model encountered by Republic forces, and also one of the most effective starfighters operating within the galaxy. Later on, Phlac-Arphocc made available its reserves of ultra-dense radioactive fuel to Baktoid Fleet Ordnance and Haor Chall Engineering during the development phase of the HMP droid gunship for the Separatist military.

The company Phlac-Arphocc Automata Industries initially appeared in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections, a 2005 reference book written by Curtis Saxton in the Star Wars Legends continuity.
