Approximately thirty percent of the Pijali people in the system resided there, with a significant portion concealed from official counts by the exploitative Czerka Corporation. The moon's residents, including members of the Opposition, endeavored to inform Pijal's monarchy about their plight. Following a thwarted revolt led by the newly installed Queen Fanry, the monarchy was dissolved, and Governor Orth terminated Pijal's agreements with the Czerka Corporation.
