Port Nowhere

title: Port Nowhere

Port Nowhere, initially called the Potentate Pride, was a spaceport situated in uncharted territories during the era of the Cold War.

History

This station's origins trace back to an Azalus-class Hutt dreadnaught, which was originally under the ownership of Barabulla the Hutt. The Hutt sold the station to the starship mechanic Delcan Finyaft for a significantly reduced price, without Finyaft fully grasping the implications. Over the subsequent six years, Finyaft disassembled and modified the station, reopening it under the new name Port Nowhere, advertising it as a mobile cantina. Due to its clandestine location, which shifted as the mobile station traversed between the Core Worlds, Outer Rim Territories, and Hutt Space, the spaceport became a sanctuary for pirates, smugglers, and diverse criminals. Port Nowhere offered various amenities, including bars, opportunities for gambling, and night entertainment.

During the initial period, and throughout the duration, of the Galactic War, the Voidhound made occasional visits to Port Nowhere. On one occasion, while present at the station, he successfully prevented an Imperial attack during his campaign against the Voidwolf.

Following the Voidwolf's defeat, the smuggler who transitioned into a crime lord, known as the Voidhound, started utilizing Port Nowhere as a central hub for his operations, overseeing his burgeoning criminal enterprise from the constantly relocating station.

Republic Strategic Information Service spy Theron Shan once made a stop at Port Nowhere to acquire clearances and navigational data for Imperial space. During this visit, he engaged in combat with and incapacitated a spaceport security officer.

Sometime later, Port Nowhere experienced a failure in its hyperdrive, leaving it stranded in space and effectively transforming it into a stationary station.

After the establishment of the Eternal Alliance, the leader of the station, known as the "Red Huntress," initiated raids on Alliance settlements with minimal military defenses, primarily targeting farmers and peaceful civilians. In response, the Alliance Commander led a team of skilled operatives, accompanied by the Alliance Recon Unit, to seize control of the station. The Huntress's forces suffered moderate casualties, including the Huntress herself. The remaining personnel of the port then joined the Alliance, expressing respect for the Commander's combat prowess. Port Nowhere then began to receive instructions from the Head of Underworld Logistics, Hylo Visz.
