Harridax Kirill, known by the moniker Voidwolf, was a male Human. During the times of the Great Galactic War, the Cold War, and the Galactic War fought between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, he held the rank of Grand Admiral in the Imperial Navy.
One of the most dreaded figures within the Empire was Harridax Kirill. His beginnings involved operating as a ruthless criminal slaver located in the Outer Rim, before his transition to an Imperial privateer.
His background in the criminal world gave him an edge as a particularly effective, albeit unscrupulous, combatant. However, this also created friction with the aristocratic officers within the Imperial Armada's, who favored warfare conducted through established strategies. He developed ambitions to command the galaxy's criminal elements in service of the Empire. The Voidwolf solidified his position with the Empire through the capture of a Jedi ship carrying Force-sensitive children. He personally spearheaded the boarding action, eliminating the defending Jedi and taking the young aspiring Padawans as prisoners. This "gift" was presented to the Sith on Korriban for training purposes, which resulted in his promotion from independent privateer to the rank of Navy commander.
During the period of the Cold War, Darmas Pollaran, an Imperial operative, negotiated an arrangement with Senator Bevera Dodonna of the Republic for the latter to betray her government. However, Rogun the Butcher discovered their conspiracy and managed to imprison them both on Port Nowhere. They were later freed by a smuggler, who was an adversary of Rogun. The two then fabricated a story implicating Rogun as an agent of the Voidwolf, successfully persuading the smuggler to become a Republic-aligned privateer.
The Voidwolf maintained a distance, delegating missions through intermediaries to the smuggler. Following the completion of a task on Balmorra, the smuggler journeyed to Quesh to assist a group of privateers who had been grounded by the Voidwolf. During the smuggler's assault on the Imperial base responsible for tagging unauthorized departing ships, the Voidwolf observed via hologram, criticizing Commander Flayn for his failure to detect the smuggler's presence. The Voidwolf taunted the smuggler, revealing his comprehensive knowledge of their activities. Flayn then made an attempt to eliminate the smuggler, but was instead killed.
Eventually, the smuggler allied with Vaz Traniff to conduct a raid on the Imperial treasury ship, the King's Ransom (King's Ransom). When confronted by the smuggler, the three Moffs in command contacted the Voidwolf for assistance. The Voidwolf promptly reminded them of his superior rank. Despite the Moffs' invocation of the rules of warfare requiring reinforcements, the Voidwolf declared that the Republic and Empire were officially at war. He then invoked Article 17 of the Ziost Convention to justify the destruction of the King's Ransom as a means to eliminate the smuggler. However, his target managed to escape.
Seeing further opportunity in exploiting the smuggler after they rescued Dodonna from another of Rogun's bounty hunters, the Voidwolf devised a plan to remove Rogun from the picture. After the smuggler completed assignments on Belsavis and Voss, they finally confronted Rogun at his safehouse on Tatooine. Simultaneously, the Voidwolf dispatched two Pureblood Sith, Chane and Desora, to confront them and reveal his treachery. He expected that two Sith would easily defeat two criminals, but the smuggler and Rogun formed an alliance and survived the betrayal.
Subsequently, the Voidwolf traveled to Corellia, where he influenced Caicos, a corrupt Corellian Councilor, to sway the Corellian Council towards seceding from the Republic. However, the smuggler pursued the Voidwolf to Corellia and, with the support of the Republic, exposed Pollaran, forcing Dodonna into hiding. With the Senator exposed, the Voidwolf deemed her expendable and had her indentured. The Voidwolf remained aboard his flagship, the Harrower-class dreadnought Regnant, in orbit. He assembled a pirate fleet with the intention of attacking Republic shipyards and subsequently invading the Core Worlds. However, the smuggler managed to infiltrate his flagship via Caicos' shuttle. Confronting their adversary on the bridge, the smuggler publicly challenged the Voidwolf for control of his pirate fleet and defeated him. The Voidwolf attempted to escape, throwing a grenade at his opponent, but the smuggler retaliated by throwing the grenade back, resulting in the Voidwolf's death and the smuggler assuming command of his fleet.
Following the Voidwolf's demise, his daughter Nexia Kirill vowed to hunt down the smuggler responsible for her father's death.
