Hoping to disable it, Han and Chewbacca began climbing the energy projector. As they approached the top, Zuckuss appeared and hurled a spear that narrowly missed Han Solo's head. The bounty hunter continued throwing spears while also beginning to climb the energy projector. Chewbacca seized one of the spears and used it to attempt to pry off the top of the energy projector. Succeeding in his effort, he and Han celebrated their small victory.
However, on the ground below, numerous small Scorpion-droids emerged from the earth, announcing their readiness to execute their programming. Their mission: to eradicate all organic life forms within The galaxy. Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Zuckuss watched on with concern.
