"Powered Down, Part II" represents the third installment in a narrative focusing on Han Solo, Chewbacca, Zuckuss, and 4-LOM. Its initial publication occurred as the featured story in Star Wars Adventures (2017) 11, dated June 6, 2018.
On an unidentified planet, the smuggler Han Solo, along with his Wookiee companion Chewbacca, found themselves in an uneasy alliance with Zuckuss, a rival bounty hunter. They were situated atop an energy projector while being assailed by small Scorpion-droids intent on eliminating all organic life forms. As Solo and Chewbacca defended against the droid onslaught, Zuckuss announced the arrival of assistance. Subsequently, 4-LOM, Zuckuss's bounty hunting partner, appeared to provide aid. From the ground, he utilized his heavy blaster rifle to target and destroy the attacking droids. 4-LOM's actions resulted in the destruction of the energy projector's apex, causing Solo, Chewbacca, and Zuckuss to plummet to the ground. Despite Han's gratitude for 4-LOM's intervention, the scorpion-droids persisted in their assault. To facilitate their escape, 4-LOM deployed thermal detonators as cover. The group then plunged into the ocean, swimming towards Han Solo's starship, the Millennium Falcon. However, the scorpion-droids pursued them even in the water. Ultimately, Solo and his companions managed to board the Falcon safely.
Subsequently, 4-LOM and Zuckuss betrayed Han Solo and Chewbacca, intending to deliver Han to Rekias Nodo. Solo expressed to Chewbacca that this would be the last time he placed trust in anyone. However, while flying over a dampener field, Han inadvertently activated a switch, causing the Falcon to lose power and begin descending rapidly towards the planet's surface. Han retrieved anti-grav chutes for himself and Chewbacca, but Zuckuss incapacitated them with a stun net, planning to exploit them.
As Zuckuss and 4-LOM proceeded towards the Falcon's exit, Zuckuss questioned whether they were required to deliver Han Solo dead or alive. The bounty hunters then realized that Han Solo had outmaneuvered them, as their chutes should have been rendered inoperable by the dampener field. Zuckuss expressed disbelief at being tricked once again.
Han felt a sense of accomplishment for successfully deceiving the bounty hunters into abandoning his ship, but the Falcon continued its descent towards the planet's surface. Shortly thereafter, 4-LOM and Zuckuss reappeared, attempting to glide towards the Falcon. However, at the last second, Han altered the Falcon's trajectory and activated the ship's engines, propelling the bounty hunters away from the ship and back towards the planet. Stranded on the surface, a displeased 4-LOM and Zuckuss prepared to confront the remaining scorpion-droids.
