The Prakith system was a planetary system made up of five planets. It existed within the Deep Core region, and its most notable planet was Prakith.
During the year 17 ABY, the starships Bloodprice and Gorath, belonging to Warlord Foga Brill, met their end within this system. They were destroyed by the vessel known as the Teljkon Vagabond.
In the reference book The Essential Atlas, published in 2009 and authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, the Prakith Minor system found mention. Jason Fry later clarified, during the creation of the The Essential Atlas Online Companion, that the Prakith Minor system was conceived to resolve inconsistencies arising from system coordinates in Shield of Lies. These coordinates had mistakenly positioned the Prakith system within Sector One.
