Prashee, along with his twin, Cratinus, were Ubdurian brothers known for exploiting their identical appearances to execute lucrative scams by switching places. Around three decades following the Battle of Endor, both brothers found themselves within the walls of Maz Kanata's castle on the planet Takodana. As they shared laughter at a table, the smuggler Han Solo walked in, accompanied by the scavenger Rey, the ex-stormtrooper Finn, and the Astromech droid BB-8. Shortly after the quartet's arrival, many of the castle's occupants hurried outside to witness the First Order destroying the Hosnian system utilizing their Starkiller Base superweapon. Subsequently, Kanata's castle was attacked and decimated by the First Order's forces. Both Prashee and his sibling were gamblers who enjoyed games of chance. Prashee sported a metal cap and an Ubdurian traveling smock, identical to the one worn by his brother.
Prashee's initial appearance was in the movie Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. The film premiered in North America on December 18, 2015. While not identified in the movie itself, his name was revealed in Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary, a companion book authored by Pablo Hidalgo that was released alongside the film. The character of Prashee is brought to life by actor and creature performer Tom Bell.
