A Jedi Master who belonged to the Jedi Order during the Republic Era accepted the youngling named Prie to be his Padawan somewhere in the period between 49 BBY and 41 BBY. He was especially skilled in creating Force-bonds with animals and in unarmed combat, and his work was highly regarded throughout the galaxy. While training Prie, he dedicated a significant amount of his time to visiting worlds that needed help with their wildlife, and he shared his knowledge with her.
During the Republic Era, a Jedi Master within the Jedi Order was widely respected across the galaxy for his expertise with fauna. His success led to frequent requests from worlds seeking his assistance in resolving animal-related problems. Sometime between 49 BBY and 41 BBY, this Jedi took the youngling Prie as his Padawan apprentice, and they began sharing living quarters inside the Jedi Temple located on the Core Worlds planet of Coruscant. As her instructor, he fostered Prie's desire for knowledge and actively supported her studies.
While in training, Prie devoted much of her time to protecting nascent settlements on undeveloped planets. During this time, the Jedi Master instructed his Padawan on the topic of Force sensitivity in animals. In 41 BBY, the Master informed Prie that Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi Master of Prie's friend Obi-Wan Kenobi, had been in disagreement with the Jedi High Council that day. Prie then told Kenobi this information, which made the Padawan upset. Shortly after, while on a mission to the Outer Rim planet Lenahra, Kenobi wondered if his difficulty in connecting with animals was the reason Prie's Jedi Master had not chosen him as a Padawan. He continued to reflect upon Prie's close connection with her Master while on the world, and feared it would weaken the bond between their group of Padawan friends. Later, in 40 BBY, Kenobi remembered Prie's apprenticeship with her Master and the Padawan's encounter with a large beast with horns.
The Jedi Master of Prie was dedicated to providing excellent training to his student, and he insisted on sharing quarters within the Jedi Temple so they could easily work together on studying. He and his Padawan went on several missions together, and he demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate with her about the best ways for her to continue her learning.
The Jedi Master possessed Force sensitivity and specialized in establishing Force-bonds with animals, as well as in unarmed combat.
