The Prosecutor, a vessel of the Acclamator-class assault ship variety, served within the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. This warship gained notoriety around 21 BBY due to an incident where Trandoshan slavers and mercenaries forcefully boarded it. After eliminating most of the crew and seizing control, the Trandoshans intended to transfer the damaged, yet operational, Prosecutor to the CIS. Subsequently, the Clone Commando’s belonging to Delta Squad were dispatched to investigate the events and ultimately prevented the Prosecutor from falling into enemy hands.
Under the command of Captain Martz, the Prosecutor participated in the First Battle of Geonosis. During the battle, Delta Squad's clone commandos successfully sabotaged a Separatist Lucrehulk-class core ship that was awaiting launch. A Republic LAAT/i gunship originating from the Prosecutor then extracted the commandos from a breach in the enemy warship's hull, allowing Squad Delta to return to the Prosecutor.
Following the First Battle of Geonosis, the Prosecutor was assigned to protect trade routes within the Corellian sector in 21 BBY. Later, Trandoshans boarded and seized the Prosecutor, resulting in the deaths of most of the clone troopers aboard.

Two weeks after the event, the Prosecutor resurfaced in the Corbantis system, located within the Chaykin Cluster and far from Corellia, near the edge of territory controlled by the Confederacy. This prompted the dispatch of the highly esteemed clone commandos of Delta Squad to investigate. They discovered the Prosecutor adrift in space, without power. Using a CR25 troop carrier, they infiltrated the derelict ship through the four starboard heavy proton missile tubes. Their main task was to recover the four data cores—the flight recorders that contained information about what had happened to the Prosecutor and caused its abandonment. Each commando was tasked with securing one data core.
As the commandos entered through their designated points, a sensor jammer was activated, severing their communication with the tactical coordinator, clone advisor 01/425, aboard the CR25 carrier. While navigating the network of catwalks, corridors, and coolant pipes in the engineering section, the commandos were attacked by scavenger droids and slavers. Meanwhile, Boss, the leader of Delta Squad, arrived at Sev's location and witnessed the trooper being ambushed. He also learned that some clones had survived the initial attack. However, most of these clones were subsequently killed by either enemy scavenger droids or the Trandoshans who had taken control.
Adding to the mystery of the Prosecutor, Boss located a lightsaber inside a service corridor during his mission. However, instead of finding the lightsaber next to a Jedi's body, it was discovered near a dead clone trooper. He then encountered a group of three survivors who attempted to attack a heavily armed Trandoshan mercenary when he went to investigate a clone trooper who had entered the room. After a difficult fight in which three troopers died, Boss continued his mission.
Navigating through damaged corridors while battling Trandoshans and assisting surviving clone troopers, Boss met up with Fixer, freed Sev from interrogation, and rescued Scorch from a detention cell. After reuniting, Delta Squad began encountering droids.
Upon reaching the bridge, the Deltas disabled the sensor jammer. 01/425 then accessed the ship's systems, providing the squad with vital information. The squad then moved to one of the ship's hangars to destroy the Trandoshan dropship docked there, which was serving as the enemy's command center.
The situation worsened when a Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship arrived to salvage the ship, as part of an agreement between the Trandoshans and the Confederacy. Delta Advisor sent out a distress signal, which was answered by the Acclamator-class assault ship Arrestor. Battle droid dispensers were deployed into the starboard hangars of the Prosecutor as the Separatists prepared to claim their prize from the Trandoshans. Delta Squad was tasked with securing several hangars against the incoming wave of Confederate droids, achieving this by destroying the hangar shield power regulators. With the regulators disabled, the hangar force fields intensified, preventing more dispensers from entering.
Fighting through the hordes of battle droids that were already taking control of the ship, Delta Squad reached an automated turbolaser control room. There, they set the controls to target the Droid Control Ship while simultaneously fighting off approaching droids. Together with the newly arrived Arrestor, their combined firepower overwhelmed the Separatist ship, resulting in its destruction. Consequently, all battle droids aboard the Prosecutor were deactivated.
