Razor-boars, a species originating from an unmapped planet located within Wild Space, were found in a swamp environment. This planet was given the moniker Graf-World by the Graf family, who were cartographers. During a search for her brother within the planet's swampy regions, Lina Graf deactivated the family droid, CR-8R, while traveling in a landspeeder to prevent the robot's noises from drawing the attention of the razor-boars.
The first reference to razor-boars occurred in Adventures in Wild Space: The Escape, a novel authored by Cavan Scott that was published in 2016.
