Delta-Three Rendezvous Point served as a meeting location for the Rebel Alliance during the time of the Galactic Civil War. This location existed in the Mid Rim region, in proximity to a certain star. After the events of the Battle of Hoth, the Fourth Division of the Alliance Fleet's came together at this specific point.
The Galactic Empire, unfortunately for the rebels, was able to uncover the location of this rendezvous by deciphering Rebel Alliance communications. An assault group, with Commander Ellian Zahra in command, then trapped the Fourth Division up against the nearby star. In a stroke of luck, the Millennium Falcon made its way to the rendezvous point and successfully shattered the blockade, which enabled several starships to get away to Backup Rendezvous Point Gamma-Nine.
