Having successfully navigated the treacherous events of Order 66, an event that decimated the Jedi Order, Caleb Dume, a Jedi Padawan, sought refuge and tried to separate himself from the Jedi ways he once knew. He found himself aligning with Janus Kasmir, a Kalleran smuggler. While on the run from two clone officers who previously served under his master's command, Dume skillfully avoided capture until he was eventually caught on the planet of Lahn. Kasmir, alongside Kleeve, a former Separatist general who had also adopted a new persona following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, followed the clones' ship to Kaller, where they successfully rescued Dume from the clutches of the Empire.
