The cartographer Auric Graf's wife was Rhyssa Graf, and she joined him in his explorations of Wild Space. Rhyssa was the mother of two children, Lina and Milo, who called her "Mum." During an expedition to an uncharted swampworld, Captain Visler Korda of the Galactic Empire apprehended both Rhyssa and Auric, abandoning their children on the planet.
