Roan Lands

Roan Lands, a young male Human, was the partner of Ferus Olin, a former Jedi. Together, they established Olin and Lands and initiated The Eleven, a resistance movement against the Galactic Empire. Tragically, Darth Vader, Olin's former rival who had become a Sith-Lord, murdered Lands in an attempt to enrage Olin.

Biography

Not long after Ferus Olin departed from the Jedi Order, he encountered Roan Lands, a male Human. Their friendship quickly blossomed into a partnership. To fund the former Jedi's business venture, Olin and Lands, Lands liquidated all his assets. The business aimed to safeguard individuals who exposed corruption and dishonesty within large corporations. Olin would later recall a visit to the planet Tati, where they swam together in a natural pool fed by a waterfall, as the best day of his life.

Soon after the Galactic Empire was established, Lands and Olin formed a resistance group named The Eleven. Aware of the potential repercussions of rebellion, the partners agreed to avoid contact if either of them were captured or imprisoned. Alongside the Eleven, they spearheaded a major uprising on Bellassa following the Imperial removal of the Bellassan monarch. However, they were outmatched by the Empire's power, resulting in the death or imprisonment of most of their members. While Olin managed to escape, Lands was detained in an Imperial facility on Bellassa and subjected to severe torture using various neurotoxins.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, while searching for Olin, came across Lands, who was nearly dead due to the neurotoxins. Amie Antin, a doctor and recent recruit to the Eleven, desperately tried to heal Lands using spectacillin for the apparent infection and gas binders to cleanse his blood of the remaining toxins, but her efforts were futile. Kenobi infiltrated the Imperial Garrison to identify the toxins used on Lands, discovering a combination of Loquasin and [Titroxinate](/article/titroxinate], followed by Skirtopanol on the final day, listed as "Persuasion Techniques." After being cured, Lands provided Kenobi with information to locate Olin.

Later, after being freed from Imperial custody, Lands reunited with Olin at the Nixor Spaceport. He supplied him with prefabricated shelters, food, and other necessities to establish an asteroid sanctuary for survivors of the Great Jedi Purge.

Subsequently, Lands returned to Bellassa and was arrested alongside Dona Telamark by the Empire for conspiring against the Bellassan government and plotting to assassinate the Bellassan Imperial Advisor. The two were held captive aboard the True Justice, a vessel owned by Senator Sano Sauro, in an attempt to force Olin to collaborate with the Empire. Scheduled for a swift trial by Judge Bellican, Attorney Tomay Alcorn, and law clerk Sam Weller, the pair was unexpectedly freed when Solace, Oryon, and Trever Flume, disguised as the Imperial judicial team, commandeered the retrofitted YT-series Corellian transport.

After aiding the inhabitants of the asteroid base, Lands went back to Bellassa and the Eleven to continue his resistance against the Empire, while Olin remained undercover as a double agent. However, when the Empire publicized Olin's collaboration with the Imperial takeover, morale plummeted across Ussa. Although the Eleven knew Olin was a double agent, many Bellassans did not. Consequently, Lands used a signal to summon Olin for a meeting. Olin informed Lands that the Eleven had fifteen minutes to raid an Imperial factory for intelligence. The chosen team consisted of Lands, Flume, and Amie Antin. Everything proceeded as planned until they encountered Darth Vader. Olin arrived soon after, but Vader fatally struck down Lands to provoke Olin. With his dying breath, Olin and Lands exchanged a final, private farewell.
