RS-318, a stormtrooper of the human species, functioned as a member of the First Order's 709th Legion. This stormtrooper, designated RS-318, found themself posted on the planet of Batuu, situated in the Outer Rim, during the occupation of the planet by the First Order in 34 ABY. Using a datapad to communicate, the trooper engaged in a conversation with another trooper, specifically CF-8011, who was curious about the First Order's mission on Batuu. RS-318 replied, expressing their bewilderment about their assignment to a world seemingly populated by what they considered to be criminals and smugglers. RS-318 was equipped with the standard First Order stormtrooper armor, enhanced by a white pauldron.
The character RS-318 was featured in Star Wars: Datapad. This application was released concurrently with the opening of the themed area Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to visitors at both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios back in 2019.
