Sarumo: a planet belonging to the Galactic Republic, found in the Galactic Frontier of the Outer Rim Territories. In the days of the High Republic Era, General Abediah Viess decided to spend her retirement on Sarumo. Following the creation of the Occlusion Zone by the Nihil marauders, Sarumo ended up on the other side of the Stormwall barrier. The inhabitants of the planet fought against the Nihil's attempts to take control, and the resistance was organized from a main primary city. Marchion Ro, known as the Eye of the Nihil, dispatched Nihil forces to Sarumo with the mission of crushing the resistance. Inside the city, Viess persuaded the leaders to give her command of the military, then killed them, turning the city's defense systems against its own people. Viess then reached out to Ro, telling him that the planet was now open to Nihil control, and also used the opportunity to ask if she could join their ranks.
