The initial glimpse of Saw Gerrera's Base was provided in the trailer for the television show Andor, which was made public on August 1, 2022. Its initial appearance occurred in "Narkina 5," the eighth episode of the series, broadcasted on October 26, 2022. The Winspit Quarry, located in Worth Matravers, Dorset, served as the location for photographing the cave setting.
