Scar Blenner, a sizable Human and an affiliate of the Blood Raptors syndicate on Genarius, encountered Teeloo, a Rodian, after Teeloo inadvertently wrecked a Blood Raptor snubfighter. Blenner then proceeded to Teeloo's docking bay, where he laid in wait and attacked the Rodian. He commanded his Raptors to seize Teeloo's possessions, informing Teeloo that retrieval was contingent upon defeating a Raptor in a race across Eskaron. Should Teeloo be defeated, his vessel would be forfeited. As an act of degradation, Scar inscribed the race's coordinates onto the Rodian's brow. His assault on Teeloo was interrupted by the intervention of compassionate bystanders, who drove him away.
Furthermore, Blenner spearheaded the faction intending to commandeer Teeloo's spacecraft post-race, unless his demise occurred in the initial sequence, in which scenario he was substituted by Vhell Kursoc. Alternatively, Blenner would meet his end in the concluding scene.
