Sconto was a merchant of the human male variety. He ran a junk shop located in Pau City on the planet of Utapau. His mother told him that his father was a clone trooper who participated in the Clone Wars, a fact Sconto accepted without question. While on a mission to find Jedi-related artifacts, Karr Nuq Sin, accompanied by Maize Raynshi and RZ-7, stopped by Sconto's shop. Sconto presented them with a staff that once belonged to Tion Medon. Upon touching it, Nuq Sin experienced a Force vision depicting Medon's encounter with the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
