Echoing their group's designation, Sear, like her fellow Orphans, had died parents from a distant time. The Orphans joined forces with the criminal organization Crimson Dawn, spearheaded by Lady Qi'ra, participating in Qi'ra's scheme to eliminate the Sith duo of Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. Within this strategy, Sear and the Orphans covertly attacked various other syndicates, aiming to create disarray and suspicion within the criminal world and incite conflict among the syndicates. Sear later met her death in a battle against Vader on a planet, where the Sith Lord used the Force push ability, sending her into the remnants of a machine that once contained the Fermata Cage.
