The quest to locate the Star Maps was a mission undertaken by Darth Revan alongside his apprentice, Darth Malak. Their objective was to find the Star Maps, which held the key to discovering the location of the Rakatan Star Forge.
In their pursuit, the Sith Lords journeyed to several locations: the Rakatan ruins found on Tatooine, the Hrakert Rift situated on Manaan, the Tomb of Naga Sadow located on Korriban, the Builder Forge present on Kashyyyk, and the Rakatan ruins on Dantooine. Ultimately, the Sith were successful in uncovering the Star Forge's whereabouts, which was in the Lehon system.
Unbeknownst to the Jedi stationed at the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, Revan and Malak had previously explored the nearby Rakatan ruins. The Jedi Order remained ignorant of this mission until Revan, now suffering from amnesia and undergoing Jedi training, was dispatched to the same Rakatan ruins as part of his Jedi trials.
