The Second Anthology, launched in July of 1998, represents the second installment of a trilogy of Star Wars Customizable Card Game anthology releases. This set featured a collection of items, specifically: a pair of Dagobah Limited booster packs, a pair of Cloud City Limited booster packs, eight Premiere Unlimited booster packs, and a selection of six preview cards with white borders originating from the soon-to-be-released expansions: Special Edition Limited, Endor Limited, and Death Star II Limited. The six preview cards included were:
- Flagship Operations
- Mon Calamari Star Cruiser
- Mon Mothma
- Rapid Deployment
- Sarlacc
- Thunderflare
Each of these cards was subsequently reprinted with a black border upon their official release within their respective expansion sets.
The Second Anthology came packaged in a storage box capable of holding 800 cards, characterized by its desert sand color and a sliding, porous cover.
