Dagobah Limited

The Dagobah Limited edition represents the third complete expansion for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, a collectible card game rooted in the Star Wars saga. Released in 1997, this set contains 180 cards in total (90 for the Dark Side and 90 for the Light Side). The card distribution includes 80 rare cards, 50 uncommon cards, and 50 common cards. This expansion brought forth many iconic characters from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back associated with the events transpiring on Dagobah, notably Jedi trials. Additionally, this set marked the introduction of bounty hunters and the Executor capital ship into the game.

Being an expansion, it features a distinct symbol, positioned on the card's upper right, adjacent to the lore and beneath the destiny number. The symbol chosen for this set is the green eye of Yoda.

This set was available in 9-card booster packs and boxes containing 60 packs. Each booster contained one rare, three uncommon, and five common cards. No starter decks were ever created for this particular set. Production of this set ceased in December of 1999, coinciding with the release of the Dagobah Revised Unlimited edition (a near-identical set with minor text adjustments and white borders replacing the original black ones).

Continuity

This release served as the initial source for the names of numerous characters from Episode V, especially officers and crew members serving aboard the Executor. Among these were Venka, Nemet, Hurdiss, Bachenkall, Ardan, and Suba. Imperial corporals Derdram and Vandolay are identified as crew of the Executor, however their images are actually from scenes on the Star Destroyer Avenger. The character Gherant is named in the set, but his image is from Return of the Jedi, his only film appearance.
