A clan originated from the planet of Quarzite during the High Republic Era. The Kage woman Serrena belonged to this clan until she faced banishment some years prior to 382 BBY for her refusal to engage in combat. In that very year, while acting as an operative for the Path of the Open Hand religious group on E'ronoh under orders from the Path's Elecia Zeveron, the Kage reflected upon her clan's rejection of her and her eventual conclusion that fighting was meaningless.
The clan to which Serrena belonged received a mention in Convergence, a 2022 book penned by Zoraida Córdova. This novel is a component of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic transmedia initiative.
