Serv-O-Droid, Inc.
Serv-O-Droid, Inc., a manufacturer of droids, was responsible for the creation of both the DUM-series pit droid and the TT-8L/Y7 gatekeeper droid. In the time of the High Republic Era, Serv-O-Droid, Inc. received instructions from the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts—an organization focused on the study of the numerous new species found throughout the galaxy—to construct Safari droids intended for deployment in perilous locales. The programming of these droids enabled them to independently record data on, and engage with, wild creatures, and then subsequently relay that information back to the Society.

The first reference to Serv-O-Droid, Inc. can be found within Ultimate Star Wars, a reference book from 2015 that was a collaborative effort by Patricia Barr, Adam Bray, Daniel Wallace, and Ryder Windham.
