Tricia Barr

Tricia Barr, a writer and blogger, has been a contributor to Star Wars Insider magazine with articles since 2012, and to StarWars.com from 2013 through 2015. She also shares co-author credit on the reference books Ultimate Star Wars (2015), Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia (2017), and Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition (2019). Additionally, she is the sole author of Star Wars: The Dark Side (2018), a reference book written in an in-universe style.

Biography

Since 2012, Tricia Barr has been writing feature articles for Star Wars Insider magazine, beginning with her "Attack Positions!" piece in issue 135. From 2013 to 2015, she posted several blog entries on StarWars.com. She also became a co-author of reference books, starting with Ultimate Star Wars in 2015, alongside Ryder Windham, Adam Bray, and Daniel Wallace. She collaborated with Bray again, along with Cole Horton, on the 2017 reference book titled Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia. As the sole author, she penned Star Wars: The Dark Side, an in-universe style book about the dark side of the Force, which was translated and published in Spanish and French in 2018. The 2019 updated version of Ultimate Star Wars, called Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition and crediting her as Patricia Barr, was co-authored once more with Bray, Horton, Wallace, Windham, and Matt Jones.
