After the war concluded, he became the leader of a group of outlaws consisting of Mandalorian and Duros individuals (including Reeza and Jarg), establishing themselves on Dantooine where they engaged in terrorizing and extorting the local population. However, this group was not large enough to threaten the Jedi Enclave or any organized defense. Canderous Ordo, who would later become Mandalore, held him and his followers in contempt, along with others of his kind, believing they were content with scraps when they should be conquering worlds.

Rumors circulated suggesting he was supported by the Sith, which would make sense given his actions of killing Jedi and fostering distrust among the locals towards their protectors. As a self-proclaimed Jedi hunter, Sherruk derived pleasure from eliminating Jedi and claiming their lightsabers as trophies. He was known to have taken the lives of at least two Jedi, one wielding a red lightsaber and the other a blue one.

In the year 3956 BBY, Sherruk, along with his companions, was killed by a redeemed Revan. Despite his past as a Sith Lord, Revan found the battle challenging, as Sherruk demonstrated considerable skill as a warrior.

According to Jon, Sherruk was a "giant man who wielded a lightsaber." Sherruk was clad in red Mandalorian Neo Crusader Armor. He possessed a sadistic nature, finding enjoyment in the act of killing Jedi and amassing their lightsabers as trophies. Furthermore, he exhibited confidence in his combat prowess, believing he was capable of defeating Revan and claiming his lightsaber as well.

The game presents his name with two different spellings: Sherruk and Sheruk. Sherruk is encountered in the southern area of the Grove after all other Mandalorian and Duros warriors on Dantooine have been defeated, with the exception of those who accompany him. Despite Jon's description of him wielding a lightsaber, Sherruk engages Revan in combat using two vibroswords.
