Shootout at Club Lao Che

A gunfight erupted at Club Lao Che in the vicinity of 18 BBY. This violent confrontation was triggered by an argument that broke out between Phee Genoa and Lanse Crowder.

Prelude

Sometime between 19 BBY and 18 BBY, the Bad Batch received a mission from Ciddarin Scaleback to scavenge a downed transport. The craft was completely non-functional, and Tech proposed splitting up to restore power while the others proceeded forward. The clones entered the hull to explore further, and they soon discovered that the ship contained a large facility filled with Kaminoan cloning technology. As the clones continued their investigation, Wrecker touched an unidentified viscous substance and expressed his disgust. Another similar substance slowly dripped from the facility's ceiling, and the clones carefully aimed their flashlight upwards, revealing that a juvenile Zillo Beast had escaped and caused the transport to crash.

Aftermath

The team successfully escaped the club and jumped to hyperspace. During the journey, Phee Genoa voiced her concerns about Omega lacking friends her own age. The pirate informed Hunter and Tech that Omega needed a peer who wasn't genetically identical, but their conversation was interrupted by a transmission from Ciddarin Scaleback. In her message, Scaleback stated that the clones had been out of contact for twenty rotations. The transmission continued with Scaleback issuing a threat, referencing her knowledge about the clones.

After viewing the transmission, Genoa advised the clones that Scaleback was a useful ally, but one they shouldn't antagonize. The pirate then inquired about the clones' plans, to which Hunter replied that she was considering them. Genoa then announced that the clones would accompany her, providing Tech with the relevant coordinates.
