The Shyrack cave was situated on the barren world of Korriban. This cave was home to sizable populations of shyracks. The cave's layout included three distinct tunnels alongside a chasm crossed by a modest bridge.
During the events of the Great Hunt in 3993 BBY, Duron Qel-Droma met his end within the cave, unable to cleanse it of terentateks.
In the year 3956 BBY, Thalia May, along with a pair of fellow rogue Sith apprentices, sought refuge from Uthar Wynn inside the cave; however, a terentatek imprisoned them there. Revan defeated the creature upon the bridge, enabling the three students to break free. He also discovered Duron Qel-Droma's remains.
The Tomb of Ludo Kressh, which Meetra Surik investigated as she looked for Jedi Master Lonna Vash in 3951 BBY, was positioned inside the cave.
