Simna's intended debut was in "Padawan Lost," the 21st episode from the third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This animated series episode was broadcast in 2011. The official episode guide, released on StarWars.com, disclosed that a scene featuring Simna, Katt Mol, and Vadoo was both scripted and filmed, but was subsequently removed due to time limitations.
