Simon, also known as Simon the Killer Ewok, was a brown-furred and black-eyed Ewok. This Ewok, Simon, brandished a staff weapon capable of firing powerful blaster bolts. These bolts were capable of rapid destruction of structures, beings, droids, and various vehicles. Furthermore, Simon possessed an energy shield and the capacity for rapid movement. Standing at a height of one meter, Simon donned a piece of orange hooded clothing that covered their head and chest, with openings for their face and ears. This Ewok also sported a plumed headpiece and communicated using the Ewokese language.
The Killer Ewok, Simon, made an appearance in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds developed by LucasArts. Simon could be unlocked by typing the cheat code "Simonsays" within the game's chat interface. Upon activation of the code, Simon would materialize on any visible terrain under the player's view. The color of the plumes on Simon's headpiece would vary based on the team color of the player who summoned the Ewok. The colors could be blue, red, green, yellow, purple, gray, orange, or cyan. Simon's in-game model and profile picture are the same as those of Chief Chirpa, a character featured in several of the game's campaigns.
Unlike the majority of the game's cheat codes, the "Simonsays" code was not included in Prima Games' strategy guide for Galactic Battlegrounds. Instead, it was revealed through the LucasArts official website. Lily Mansfield, a level designer for Galactic Battlegrounds, suggested that Simon's name was a reference to Simon Jeffrey, who held the position of president at LucasArts at the time. When questioned about Simon's canonicity on the StarWars.com Message Boards, Leland Chee, the manager of Lucasfilm's Holocron continuity database, drew a comparison between Simon and Max, a character featured as an Easter egg within the 1997 video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II.
