Sitter

The Sitter was a male human character who resided on the planet Jakku during the time of the Cold War.

Perched on a pillar close to Pilgrim's Road, almost hidden by the shadow of Carbon Ridge, he was the sole conspicuous entity visible for miles. His routine involved climbing the pillar as the sun rose and descending as it set. Throughout the daylight hours, he remained motionless in a cross-legged position. Despite drawing a gathering of individuals who considered him a prophet, he was never heard speaking, according to the local inhabitants. Rey considered these people insane. When the crowd became bothersome, a Teedo would appear and disperse them. Following this, the Teedos would supply the Sitter with provisions such as spinebarrel meat, nightbloomer peel, and water to sustain him.
