This incident involved Progga, a Hutt, piloting his starship, and Dubrak Qennto aboard his vessel, the Bargain Hunter, a starship. Qennto managed to escape via hyperspace, with the Hutt in pursuit. Just as Progga prepared to eliminate Dubrak, Chiss forces deployed a Conner net, targeting both vessels. This action compelled Progga to shift his focus to defense, leading to an engagement with the Chiss.
The Bargain Hunter, captained by Dubrak Qennto and crewed by Maris Ferasi and Jorj Car'das, was ambushed, marking the commencement of a conflict. Progga, piloting his starship, initiated the attack with the intention of seizing the Bargain Hunter and its valuable cargo: a collection of rare furs and Firegems.
Twice, Progga pursued Qennto through hyperspace, yet his ship's weaponry failed to directly strike the Bargain Hunter. On the second hyperspace jump, attempting to evade Progga, the Bargain Hunter's hyperdrive experienced overheating due to a nullifier malfunction. After four hours of labor, Quennto successfully deactivated the hyperdrive before it catastrophically failed. Consequently, the Bargain Hunter found itself near a star cluster. The crew then resorted to their backup hyperdrive, jumping to the closest star system, a distance of four light-years. Emerging near a yellow sun, they were met with the unwelcome sight of Progga appearing directly behind them, hailing them via ship communications. Progga, erroneously believing they had a hidden base on the nearby planet, demanded that Quennto guide him to it.
Before Progga and Qennto could conclude their exchange, a Conner net was discharged by the Chiss, ensnaring both vessels. While the Bargain Hunter was rendered inoperable, Progga's starship was designed with resistance to Conner nets in mind. Preparing for combat, Progga redirected his starship to confront the source of the nets, resulting in the Skirmish between Progga and Picket Force Two.
