Snow monster

Dwelling on the Forest Moon of Endor was a species known as the snow monster. Considerably larger than an Ewok, its body was covered with yellow-green fur, and it possessed formidable claws and large teeth. In 3 ABY, after a powerful being, the Snow King, transformed the moon's surface into a landscape of snow and ice, one of these creatures encountered the Ewoks Wicket W. Warrick, Teebo, and Latara.

Biological Traits and Physical Appearance

The snow monster, a species originating from the Forest Moon of Endor, possessed a height significantly exceeding that of an Ewok, a sentient species indigenous to the moon. Its body, excluding its head, face, hands, and feet, was largely covered in yellow-green fur. While the fur on its head was a darker shade of green, its face, hands, and feet were bare, revealing pale, tan skin. Each of its four limbs terminated in three digits equipped with claws, and its mouth was filled with sizable teeth.

Historical Information

The Ewoks and Iceheads encounter the monster on Endor.

The snow monster's habitat was the Forest Moon of Endor. Following the transformation of the moon's surface into a snowy and icy terrain by the powerful Snow King in 3 ABY, the Ewoks Wicket W. Warrick, Teebo, and Latara embarked on a journey to a palace—the residence of the Snow King's brother, the Sun King—aboard a flying leaf dispatched by the Snow King's sister, the Leaf Queen. However, their path was obstructed by several Iceheads, servants of Odra, the Snow King's mistress. As the Ewoks and Iceheads, traveling on the flying leaf, entered a cave close to the Sun Palace, they were confronted by a snow monster, which emitted a wail directed at the Iceheads before attacking. The Iceheads and the monster plummeted to the ground below, briefly submerged in snow; upon emerging, the Iceheads discovered the monster behind them, prompting their retreat as the monster pursued them.
