Plot summary

C-3PO, R2-D2, and Luke Skywalker, accompanied by the aforementioned droids, are marooned upon the [water](/article/water-legends]-dominated planet Drexel. Adrift in their escape pod, they stumble into the midst of an ongoing conflict between the sea-dragons, ridden by warriors known as the Dragon Lords, and the hydra craft, piloted by the forces of Governor Quarg. The heart of their battle lies in the acquisition of Luke's damaged vessel, as any mechanical device holds immense value on this planet largely submerged by ocean. Although the fight culminates in a stalemate, Luke and his droid companions are seized by the skimmer pilots and escorted to their base. There, Luke attempts to persuade Quarg of the greater utility of the droids in their complete form rather than dismantling them for spare components.

Concurrently, Han Solo is leading Crimson Jack and his band of pirates toward the Drexel system under the guise of a treasure hunt, but the pirates grow wary upon their arrival, noting that the sole planet within the system is entirely enveloped by water.
