Star Wars 20: Deathgame represents the twentieth installment within the Marvel Star Wars comic book saga.
In an elaborate attempt to tarnish the reputation of the Rebel Alliance, Senator Simon Greyshade orchestrates a staged incident. This involves an attack on a luxury pleasure craft by an X-wing starfighter, which is then seemingly driven off by Imperial TIE fighters. This fabricated event is transmitted to the casinos situated on The Wheel, where horrified spectators witness what appears to be the Rebels' ruthless behavior. Greyshade's plan further includes the assassinations of both Han Solo and Chewbacca during their participation in distinct competitions within The Big Game gladiator tournament. However, Solo thwarts this plot by unexpectedly triumphing over his formidable adversary, shocking the audience. Simultaneously, the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO are seized by The Wheel's authorities and are about to have their memories erased, but Master-Com intervenes and saves them. The trio of droids then proceeds to the medical facility to check on Luke Skywalker, only to discover that he has not only awakened but has also managed to flee.
