George Roussos was an artist in the comic book industry. He contributed to a few editions of the Marvel Star Wars comic series and also worked as a colorist on the Star Wars: Droids (1986) comic book series. Roussos began his career in comics by assisting Batman's creator, Bob Kane, on the Dark Knight's comic in 1940. Throughout his career, he was employed by practically every comic book publisher. During the 1960s, he inked some of Jack Kirby's early artwork at Marvel Comics using the alias George Bell. He later transitioned to a full-time colorist role at Marvel, a position he maintained until the 1990s. He passed away in 2000 due to a heart attack.
