Plot summary

Luke Skywalker battling Lumiya.

Luke Skywalker engages in a confrontation with the Dark Lady known as Lumiya. Lumiya, wielding her formidable lightwhip, decisively overpowers Luke and subsequently takes him captive. She has already captured the Zeltron named Dani. In a parallel development, Kiro, an aquatic Iskalonian previously defeated and left for dead by Lumiya, improvises a breathing apparatus and sets out to rescue Luke and Dani. He locates Luke first, and together they devise a strategy to defeat Lumiya. Upon finding her, Luke reclaims his lightsaber using the Force. Lumiya anticipates another easy victory, but Luke unveils his countermeasure: a shoto lightsaber, which, when used in conjunction with his primary lightsaber, allows him to effectively counter Lumiya's lightwhip. Luke successfully disarms her, and in a fit of rage, she attacks him. He evades her assault, slicing away a portion of her armor and revealing the face of Shira Brie beneath. Luke attempts to appeal to her inherent goodness, but before he can make any headway, the Nagai invasion fleet materializes from hyperspace in the skies above . . .
