Plot summary

As Aurra Sing eliminates a scouting party of Tuskens, the scheme of Jabba the Hutt to instigate conflict is revealed. As he intended, the Tusken warriors initiate their battle with Gardulla's hired soldiers. Sharad Hett begins a strategic deployment of his Tusken warriors, but Sing launches an attack on Ki-Adi-Mundi and the younger Hett, scattering them across the war zone. Overwhelmed, Gardulla orders a withdrawal. Unbeknownst to her, Sing has been secretly working for Jabba, who arrives to bolster her forces. Ultimately, Sing locates her target, and a lightsaber fight breaks out, leaving Sharad Hett on the brink of death. Ki-Adi-Mundi arrives just in time to drive away the assassin, and to hear Hett's dying wish: that he complete his son's training on Coruscant.
