A series of unfortunate events unfolds on Kiffex, a planet serving as a prison. An Anzati assault has overwhelmed a Guardian base there, and weaponry from that base has found its way into the hands of the incarcerated. Quinlan Vos, a Jedi and a direct descendant of the Guardians, is called upon to delve into this catastrophe, an appeal he cannot ignore. However, this Jedi, grappling with the allure of the dark side, might encounter challenges exceeding his expectations. Thankfully, Quin is aided by Villie, his cunning Devaronian companion, his previous mentor, Tholme, and surprisingly, a diminutive, sightless chef.
