Publisher's summary

This month's edition of Tales features the comedic talents of Kevin Rubio, the mind behind the uproarious short film TROOPS. Lovern Kindzierski collaborates with the popular Doug Wheatley (known for Aliens: Apocalypse) to craft a compelling narrative. Additionally, Kilian Plunkett's humorous story, "Sandblasted," continues the celebrated exploits of Jabba the Hutt's notorious swoop gang members, Big Gizz and Spiker. In this tale, they stumble upon a malfunctioning dark trooper amidst the ruins of Tatooine's Podracing arena, whose weapon systems remain fully operational, leading to chaotic events.

Introduction

Dave Land, the editor of Star Wars Tales, provides an introduction to the issue and shares a letter from a young reader, Max Denning, who is three-year-old. Max expresses his desire for more lightsaber combat within the series. Responding to this request, Land sets up a lightsaber duel between K'Kruhk, a character from the Jedi Council: Acts of War series, and Ramón F. Bachs, the artist of that same series. K'kruhk defeats the unsuspecting Bachs, while Land, unfazed by the event, encourages readers to proceed with the issue and continue providing their feedback.
