Following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, and as the Galactic Empire held reign, the Empire initiated a process of subjugation in the Anoat sector. This occurred as the Empire extended its reach into the Outer Rim Territories, ostensibly under the command of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Palpatine, with his aversion to the independence of the Noble Court, gave many kill orders targeting the nobles and seized authority over their territories.
