Sulin

Bandit Squadron provides protection for the Sulin group Sulin refers to a Rebel Alliance convoy consisting of a dozen MB-C1 medium transports. To gain vital information regarding the dangerous TIE starfighters being deployed during the Imperial TIE Experimental Project, the Alliance devised a scheme to ensnare these fighters.

The Sulin cargo group was strategically positioned utilizing remote control technology. In 3 ABY, when the Galactic Empire dispatched a substantial force of Experimental fighters along with two Beta-class ETR-3 escort transports with the intention of eliminating the convoy, the Rebels executed their planned ambush. Employing the recently introduced Ion pulse warheads, six Rebel pilots from Bandit Squadron, under the command of Admiral Yamarus and piloting Z-95 Headhunters, launched an assault on the enemy forces. Ace Azzameen flew as the second pilot. The Rebels successfully neutralized the majority, if not all, of the Imperial vessels, enabling the Heavy Lifter group Atlas to seize one of each type of fighter. While several ships within the Sulin cargo group sustained damage or were destroyed, the mission achieved its primary objective of trapping the Empire's valuable experimental starfighters. Following the mission's completion, they evacuated the area, and Yamarus effectively utilized the acquired intelligence to halt the experimental project.
