Syned One

Syned One, a celestial body of astronomical significance, existed within the Syned system situated in the Grumani sector. This sector formed part of the Trailing Sectors, which itself was a region of the expansive Outer Rim Territories. Notably, Syned One shared its nomenclature with the planet Syned, both being components of the same Syned star system.

An alien obelisk was a prominent feature on the surface of Syned One. This obelisk, every six hundred years, coinciding with a specific alignment of the stars in the sky, would display peculiar inscriptions of alien origin. In the year 3643 BBY, the obelisk once more revealed these writings.

Around this year, an individual, affiliated with one side of the conflicting governments during the ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, dispatched an associate to Syned One. This individual was tasked with observing the emergence of the obelisk's inscriptions. Ultimately, the associate managed to decipher a map from the writings, leading to a remarkable discovery.

Behind the scenes

The celestial object Syned One was referenced within the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic developed by BioWare. Specifically, it appeared in the Crew Skill Mission titled "The Syned Conjuction," although details concerning the mission's conclusion were subsequently removed from the game. Furthermore, the reference work The Essential Atlas, published in 2009, located the Syned system, and consequently Syned One, within grid square N-17.
