The Talcene Transit served as a hyperspace route that functioned as a vital supply line. Starships utilized it to move cargo from the Perlemian Trade Route and deliver it to the Kuthic Worlds. Situated along this route, between the planets Kegan and Handooine, was the planet Saleucami. Saleucami can be found at coordinates S-8 on the Standard Galactic Grid, within the Saleucami system of the Suolriep sector, located in the Slice and the Outer Rim Territories' Foundry of the Confederacy regions. A religious group, known as the Zealots of Psusan, held sway over three colonies that were positioned along the Talcene Transit.
Within current Star Wars canon, the initial mention of the Talcene Transit occurred in the article "Visiting Saleucami," which was part of the "Guide to the Galaxy" section in the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 44 magazine by De Agostini, released around November 4, 2015. This route initially appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity, specifically in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace.
