Tari Darkspanner, known to her followers as the Master and later as Lord Darkspanner, was a Human female Sith. During the Cold War, she held the position of master within the Sith cult called the Order of Revan.
After learning about Revan while training as a Sith acolyte on Korriban, Tari Darkspanner established the Order of Revan. She came to believe that Revan had overthrown the Sith Emperor and taken his place on the throne, having heard about Revan's visit to Dromund Kaas three centuries before the Cold War.
She resided at the Revanite compound located on Dromund Kaas, the capital planet of the Sith Empire. Those initiates who successfully completed their Pilgrimage were granted an audience with "her," which took the form of a hologram depicting a man dressed as Revan. However, she later made a personal appearance before a new cult member, requesting their assistance in safeguarding the cult from Darth Charnus and his apprentice, Emic Sandor.

Eventually, Darkspanner discovered the truth about Revan's destiny when Revan himself appeared in a vision, urging her to leave Dromund Kaas and seek him out. Impressed by Darkspanner and her accomplishments with the Order of Revan, Revan offered her the chance to expand the order's influence and mission. Bestowed with the title of Lord Darkspanner, she became one of Revan's most trusted commanders until her demise on Yavin 4 at the hands of combined forces from the Empire and the Republic.
Tari Darkspanner is a character featured in the 2011 Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG video game. She is present during the Revanite missions on Dromund Kaas, which are exclusive to players aligned with the Empire.
After the Revanites' trials are completed, Darkspanner provides the player(s) with a method to divert the Empire's attention away from the Revanites. She had obtained a Sith amulet from Darth Charnus and desires the player(s) to deliver it to Sandor, with the intention of framing his master as the leader of the Revanites. The player(s) have the option to cooperate with Darkspanner's scheme, thereby pitting Sandor against Charnus (light side dialogue), or to expose Darkspanner to Sandor, leading to her capture by the Dark Council (dark side dialogue). Considering that Charnus later appears during the Battle of Corellia, and Darkspanner later reappears on Yavin 4, neither of these actions ultimately achieve their intended goals.
