Tarrin Datch served as an X-wing starfighter pilot for the Rebel Alliance's Rogue Squadron throughout the Galactic Civil War. During the Battle of Hoth, Datch participated in the escape from Echo Base, providing an escort for the final GR-75 medium transport, named the Bright Hope, as it departed Hoth alongside other pilots like Wes Janson and Wedge Antilles.
