Rootleaf and Moss Salad from Temple was a type of salad that could be found at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo which itself was located in Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. The dish was composed of a mixture of sweet and savory salad greens, along with pickled vegetables, toasted mushrooms, and deep-fried potato noodles. You could also get it with a soft egg from a Gwayo, prepared in a marinade.
The debut of this salad occurred at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo within Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge resort on May 2, 2023, coinciding with the "Star Wars Day" festivities held on May 4th. The menu described the salad as featuring "Sweet-savory salad greens, brined vegetables, roasted mushrooms, fried potato noodles, and," if the gwayo egg was included, "soy-marinated soft-boiled egg." Currently, this item is not on the menu.
